Hemimorphite is a zinc silicate crystal found in beautiful blueish-green, to light blue color. It also appears as white, yellow, brown, grey, and even colorless. This mineral was first found in 1853. Hemimorphite is believed to have been around since the 18th century and was actually referred to as “Electric Calamine”. Algeria, Mexico, Greece, Italy, and Namibia have seen the best specimens of this stone.
